Dr. Jill Doe, DC, DAc

Originally from Saint John, NB, Dr. Doe first came to Halifax to work towards a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology at Dalhousie University as a Loran Scholar. During her studies at Dalhousie, she had a particular focus in human anatomy, physiology, and ergonomics. This keen interest of how the body functions, combined with an athletic upbringing led Dr. Doe to pursue a career in Chiropractic. She then received her Doctor of Chiropractic upon graduating Cum Laude and Clinic Honours from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in Toronto. Dr. Doe then received her Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Diploma from McMaster University in Hamilton and has also completed postgraduate training in soft tissue therapy and foot biomechanics.
Dr. Jane Doe, ND
Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine
Dr. Jane Doe earned her Bachelor of Science (Hon) majoring in pre veterinary medicine at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver. In her final year of study at UBC, she had an “a-ha” moment after noticing an advertisement in the school newspaper for a career in Naturopathic Medicine. Dr. Doe knew this was what she was meant to do, and in 2001 she graduated at the top of her class from The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto. As a licensed Naturopathic Doctor, she operated a successful referral based practice in Toronto for 14 years before moving back home to Halifax in 2015.
Dr. Doe’s treatment plans blend science with nature and aim to bring balance back to the body using a combination of diet, natural medicines and lifestyle modifications. In Naturopathic medical school, there is extensive training in Clinical Nutrition, Botanical Medicine, Homeopathic Medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine including Acupuncture, Counselling and certain forms of bodywork. Dr. Doe has additional training in Intravenous Nutritional Therapy, Bowen Therapy, Craniosacral Therapy and Epigenetics & Gene Mutations. She is particularly passionate about using Biotherapeutic Drainage, which is a process that removes toxic accumulations that interfere with cellular balance, functioning and nourishment.
